Sandra Kunz, a singer-songwriter from Penticton, brings a vibrant energy to every performance. With a laid-back approach to Folk and Roots music, her powerful and captivating voice resonates with audiences of all ages. She plays solo with her voice and guitar and plays with other musicians in a band, depending on your needs and budget. Sandra's original songs, written from the heart, explore the light and dark within us all, creating an authentic connection through her music. Whether on stage or in a more intimate setting, her ability to pour her full energy into each space is undeniable. Recently, she graced the stage at Penticton's Ignite Festival, sharing her soulful sound with the local community.

Sandra has been playing music in the Okanagan for a few years now and specializes in playing at wineries, fine dining restaurants, tap rooms, markets and retirement homes and the intimate setting of house concerts. (see below for a list of venues Sandra has played).
Sandra feels very comfortable in the intimate setting and loves to connect and engage with her audience.

Sandra understands how difficult a lot people believe it is to do what you love and believed for a long time that it is frivolous to share your gifts, and that the arts are not valued. She completely turned that around in 2022 is grateful every time she has the opportunity to play to an audience. She really gives it all she has and crafts her shows to be a journey of ebb and flow to make it a memorable experience for the audience.
Sandra is also an experienced Open Mic Host and enjoys organizing those sorts of events and making the event run smoothly making the audience feel comfortable, bringing fun and authentic energy to the event.
Before Sandra started performing again she was and still is a visual artist. She paints, mostly with acrylics but she also draws with ink, and charcoal. She is in love with the beauty and shadow in the world and how that shows up in each of us. She sees it and paints it.
